A few clients of mine have been asking me about removing water stains from the front of their stainless steel dishwashers. So I went home and made a concoction with a vinegar base and tried it on my personal dishwasher. The results were amazing and I had everything I needed in my pantry.
Here is a close-up of the project before I got started.
So here is what you’re going to need
- Baking soda
- vinegar
- lemon juice
- olive oil
- microfiber cloth
- spoon
Mix one fourth cup vinegar with a half cup of baking soda. Add a tablespoon of lemon juice and a tablespoon of olive oil and stir all of your ingredients until they form a paste. Once your paste is made, take your microfiber and dip it in your mixture. Rub it in small circles over your dishwasher.
Let the mixture sit for about 5 to 10 minutes then dampen your microfiber and wife the surface of your dishwasher.
Notice how the gunk is coming right off? I love how simple this is. Once the dishwasher has been wiped off you can add a few drops of olive oil to a soft cloth and buff it right into the dishwasher surface to give it a great shine.
Here is the end result it may not be perfect but it’s 99.9% better and I’m happy. We have now successfully green cleaned the face of our dishwasher. Please leave your tips below and like, share, or tweet this post!
